DEVONA

Devona is a production and post Audio Engineer in sunny California. Her early experience involved working in public radio. Since then she's recorded, edited, mixed and sound designed hundreds of radio commercials, and tracked dialogue for  3 major console video games. Devona has also engineered multiple facets of the audio entertainment industry, including recording and mixing multiple-award-winning and Grammy-nominated full cast audio dramas, audio books, and industrial narration, as well as sound playback for feature film, feature musicals, and episodic TV. She's recorded narration and ADR for television and film, and 3D CGI/animated features. She's also added facial motion capture for video game production to her list of technical acumen. A techie at heart, she's also driven by the art of the process, and the satisfaction of a beautiful final product.

I also am a member of IATSE Local 695 as a production sound and music playback operator, boom, and Sound Utility person for feature films, episodic tv, shorts, musicals and more.

 

On set and on location during production and being in a studio control room are totally different worlds but I am very happy to be versatile enough for the transition.
